Luxury Living in Aquarius Mews Yaletown

Playfully feminine design inspired by the international charm of Europe. 

The perfect pied-à-terre for the jet setting bachelorette.

Objective: To transform an incredibly dated apartment into a luxurious vacation home.

The Space: 1400 SQ FT apartment overlooking the water in Yaletown.

Scope of work: A lipstick and rouge style aesthetic renovation which included remodelling one bedroom to concert into a stunning walk in closet and remodelling a small storage room to make for a chic shoe closet. Lighting truly is the jewellery of the home, so all new lighting to update the space was required. A kitchen facelift, including a new backsplash and hardware as well as fresh paint and and all new furniture and decor throughout.

Inspiration: The international charm of Europe and more specifically the pink room in Sketch London with a twist of course.

The Client: A globe trotting bachelorette with a love for high fashion and all things luxury.

What We Love:

•   The floor to ceiling 10’ custom velvet heard-board agains the fabulous gold and ivory wallpaper.

•   The cheetah print area rug with the silk tufted velvet ottoman in the walk in closet

•   The modernized antique Parisian guided armchairs with a beautiful textured black and taupe/gold velvet

•   The Hollywood regency inspired chandeliers

•   The Stunning gold leaf with Nero marble cocktail table

What We Did:

•   Established full scope of work and Project managed the entire renovation from concept to completion. This was a truly white glove experience for these clients.

•   Worked directly with the millwork company and the carpenter to design and oversee installation of all architectural elements including wall paneling and casing details, fireplace designs, bathroom vanities and complete kitchen design.

•  Comprehensive plan including wall details, electrical layout, lighting, paint, furniture, art consulting, custom linens and accessories.

•   Worked directly with local upholstery to manufacture, and install floor to ceiling custom pink velvet bed..

•   Worked directly with client to curate art collection. 

•   White glove delivery and set up of entire space for big jet set reveal.
